Loreen wins for Sweden in ESC!

So, how many of my readers watched the Eurovision Song Contest last night?

I totally did! And although I would gladly had seen Sweden beaten by Russia’s Buranovskiye Babushki, I was whole-heartedly rooting for Sweden’s Loreen. Yes, I am Swedish, but I usually root for the song that I actually think is the best, and this year Sweden absolutely deserved the trophy!

I love Loreens Euphoria! I can relate to both the song and the performance, I am at an amazing stage in my life and this song went straight to my heart!

The Sims 2

This week I uninstalled WoW and re-installed The Sims 2!

I used to do custom stuff for TS2, here’s an example: I made a Stargate Atlantis Wraith skin! ;D Free to download!

But I couldn’t keep my hands off Body Shop for long this time either. ^^; I’ve downloaded a lot of latex and shiny clothes from other sites, but I thought it was time to do my own latex designs now. I’m starting light with some simple types of clothing I like, using photos of me for texturing. I think I might save my more complex designs for actual clothing for myself. ;P

Oh, btw, here’s a model of myself I made, it’s hard – still not satisfied! =( For one – I realize now that I’m probably a bit chubbier to the cheeks… XD

Nerdy craft

“Nerdery, sci-fi, latex, space, beauty, unicorns, cats, magic and every day life…” So far, there’s not been much nerdery and sci-fi on here, but since all that has a pretty big part in my life, it’s time to change that!

I love nerdy crafts! And since I’m a crafty gal, of course I have done some nerdy crafts. Do I really need to brag about it? Sure I do! ;P

Here’s a Star Trek crochet mini pillow I made some time ago:

Well I tried XD – it’s not easy to make a pattern of your own like that. But since I’m quite familiar with pixel art, I used my experiences from there and came up with a somewhat ok pattern. XD

And here’s a Cylon in free embroidery that I made recently:

Also made this pattern myself, well I traced an image of a Cylon and a Cylon Basestar… XD Anywhooo… I don’t know if it’s really finished or if I should write FRAK in the background at the top of the Cylon head.

When I started the program, eons ago, I was aiming at teaching for high school/upper secondary school/senior high school – I have studied for over 5 years! And suddenly, I get a temp job at a pre-school and I realize that’s all I want to do!

Wow, it’s all happening now!
